Creamy Bacon Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients:

Chicken:

4 Skin-on Chicken Thighs or Chicken Leg Quarters (chicken legs will work to if you prefer, use 8-10 of them)

2 tsp Select Savory Seasonings, Savory Italian Seasoning

Select Savory Seasonings, Sea Salt Course and Select Savory Pepper to taste


Creamy Bacon Mushroom Sauce:

1 TBSP Bacon Grease (or Olive Oil)

8 ounce Can of Sliced Mushrooms

6 slices of Bacon (or if you are like me then more is better)

1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream

½ tsp of Select Savory Seasonings, Sea Salt Fine

¼ tsp of Select Savory Seasonings, Select Savory Pepper

1 tsp Select Savory Seasonings, Granulated Garlic

1 TBSP of fresh thyme with the stems removed


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degree. Sprinkle the chicken thighs with the Select Savory Seasoning Savory Italian Seasoning, Sea Salt (course) and Select Savory Pepper. Bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. After the chicken is cooked drain the grease from the pan and set the pan and chicken aside for later.


While the chicken is cooking in the oven cook the bacon in a skillet and drain the bacon on a paper towel. Reserve some of the bacon grease.


Put the reserved bacon grease back in the skillet and sauté the mushrooms. Add the bacon, heavy cream, Select Savory Seasonings, Sea Salt (course), Select Savory Pepper, California Granulated Garlic and Fresh Thyme. Bring to a simmer until the sauce starts to thicken. Pour the mixture on top of the Chicken and place in the oven for 2-3 minutes to allow flavors to blend. Now serve and Enjoy!!


You can also sauté some cauliflower or broccoli with the mushrooms if you want to add some veggies to the dish.
