-2 Large Yellow Onions
-1/2 lb of ground beef
-1/2 lb of breakfast sausage
-1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
-Cut the peeled onions in half, and separate the pieces into matching pairs.
-In a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients
-Squish the meat mixture in between two matching pieces of the onion until all of the meat is squished between onion layers.
-Wrap each onion bomb in one layer of regular foil and one in heavy-duty foil, and twist the ends.
-When you get to the camp site throw them on the coals and cook for about 10 minutes on each side.
-Unwrap, Serve and Enjoy!
**Please Note: do not freeze these before taking them camping. They do not cook as well. Prepare them a day or two before leaving and keep them in the fridge and in your cooler or pre mix the meat and make the onion bombs at the campsite.**
