Tammy's Low Carb Sausage Dip

My Friend Tammy Gentry came up with this Amazing Sausage Dip that is great for a party, or for just snacking around the house. We love to dip plain pork rinds in this Low Carb Sausage Dip!!


2 pounds of Browned Breakfast Sausage (I like to use Jimmy Dean Regular)

1 can of Rotel Mild Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilis

2 - 8 oz packs of Full Fat Cream Cheese (I like Original Philadelphia Cream Cheese)

16 oz of Colby Jack Shredded Cheese

1 tsp of Select Savory Seasonings Smoked Sweet Paprika


There are two ways to make this Amazing Dip. The first way and easiest way is in the crock pot and the second in in a large skillet...both directions are below.

-Crock Pot Directions:

Brown the sausage, cube the cream cheese and then throw all of the ingredients (except the paprika) in the crock pot and let warm on low for about an hour or until all melted and hot, stirring occasionally. Once everything is heated through and well mixed, sprinkle the the Smoked Sweet Paprika on top and serve!

-Large Skillet Directions: (in these pictures I made half of the recipe. Making a full recipe is better in the crock pot than in a skillet)

-Brown the sausage in a large skillet

-Once the meat is browned add the cubed cream cheese, Rotel, and shredded cheese and mix well over medium to low heat

-Continue to stir the ingredients over medium-low heat until the cream cheese is completely melted and everything is heated through. Sprinkle the Smoked Sweet Paprika on top

-Transfer the dip to a serving bowl

-Serve up with some Pork Rinds and Enjoy!!
