This is our families Favorite Chili recipe as it combines three different meats for amazing texture and Flavor!!
1 lb of Bacon chopped
1 lb of Brisket or Ground Beef
1 lb of Ground Pork or Sausage
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 medium yellow onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp Chili Powder Mild
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Mediterranean Oregano
1/2 tsp Smoked Sweet Paprika
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Cayenne Powder
-In a large skillet cook the bacon over medium-high heat until it is crispy and set aside.
-If you have cooked brisket cut the meat into 1" chunks
-If you do not have brisket brown the ground beef and pork/sausage in the skillet and drain the grease.
-Put the cooked meats to your crock pot (break up the bacon into small pieces before putting it in the crock pot.
-Put the rest of the ingredients to the crock pot and stir very well to distribute all the seasonings.
-Put the lid on and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
-Serve and Enjoy!! Garnish with cheddar cheese and sour cream if desired.
